Prevent Issues Instead of Fixing Them Later

Video Blog

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

Are you taking the time to prevent issues, or waiting until after the fact to fix things? As a leader, always have direct communication. This applies when you are happy about something that has occurred, as well as when you are dissatisfied with an action or behavior. Be clear about the facts, the implications of what is happening and how to do it differently next time. Your team will appreciate the candor and exhibit the same openness with their direct reports.
